New Software Makes Cable Gland Selection Simple
Cable Gland selection software has been added to version 2 of the Cable Gland Technical Portfolio C.D., which also contains installation training MPEG videos and an interactive PDF catalogue.
The selection software will select Cable Glands by three different methods, these being:
- Selecting the cable construction type and then entering the cable dimensions.
- Selecting the cable standard or manufacturers cable type and then selecting the number of cores/pairs etc. and the CSA.
- Selecting the Hawke description/part number.
Saved enquiries can be sent to Hawke International for quoting purposes either by fax or E-mail. The C.D. will save time for Project Designers and Electrical Engineers, by turning a previously time consuming exercise into a few mouse clicks. The software not only leads the enquirer to the right product, but also shows alternative and similar products that can be considered. Improving Cable Gland selection achieves greater safety, with a possibility of substantial cost saving in some cases.
Also contained on the C.D. are product data sheets, product certificates, assembly instructions, quality documentation and MPEG installation videos. From selection to installation, everything you need on one C.D.
