Hawke International Sells Fieldbus Line To Moore Industries Inc. Of California, USA
In conjunction with our continued strategic review of our existing product lines, we are pleased to announce we have reached an agreement with Moore Industries International Inc of California, USA, for the sale of our innovative line of Foundation Fieldbus and Profibus PA device couplers and power supplies. The sale of this product line follows an exciting 4 year development, launch and supply of products, which has enabled us to widen our exposure within the control, instrumentation and automation markets.
Under the terms of sale the product line will be promoted and marketed under the "Moore/Hawke" brand name and will aim to build on the significant achievements made by Hawke Fieldbus, in its relatively short time period of involvement in the market. The range of Moore/Hawke products will boast a wide range of Fieldbus power and connection solutions covering all industrial applications including hazardous locations, and will benefit from both of the Hawke's and Moore's product strengths, quality and technical innovations that support their respective brand names around the world.
